“Life has a funny way of nudging us in the direction we are meant to go. Many years after earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in photography and running successful businesses in photography and life coaching, I find myself in a new chapter of life, working towards my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Waynesburg University.
I love my family and friends, running, obstacle course races, home improvement, and cooking new recipes. My wife and I have spread our roots in the suburbs of Philadelphia with our three young kids (#twindad).
Kids have an interesting way of putting a magnifying glass on the parts of us that we need to work on. It was that realization that led me to the counseling profession and piqued my clinical interest in couples, parenting, families, men’s issues, depression, and anxiety.
As a graduate-level intern, my goal is to create a space within which my clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe autonomy, positive relationships, faith, encouragement, growth through discomfort, and community are foundational for building the life you want.” – Dan
