Services

We realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor our therapies to meet the specific needs of our clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, we will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.

Megan Lawler, MSW, LCSW specializes in treating individuals, couples and families and offers comprehensive services dealing with:

Tweens

We provide individual, group and family therapy for tweens ages 9 – 12. We work with tweens while also involving the family in the process, which clinically has shown to provide the most successful outcomes.  Tweens are very often struggling with where they land developmentally, trying to grapple with not being a little kid, but not quite a full fledged teen.

Teens

We work with teens, college students, and young adults who may be struggling developmentally or emotionally.  We offer individual, group, and family therapy for teens and young adults.  This period of time can often be filled with stress and uncertainty, as young people are trying successfully grow and move through the stages of development.  We meet teens and young adults exactly where they are, and assist them in developing the tools needed to create their own success.  The support and involvement of the family is also encouraged as well throughout this process.

Adults

If you’ve been feeling hopeless or lost lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, individual therapy could help you improve your everyday life. Individual therapy helps you win against whatever you’re battling by putting a real expert in your corner by means of a professional therapist.

Family Counseling

Our family affects who we are and who we become, both for the better and for the worse. We learn our vocabulary, our habits, our customs and rituals, and how to view and observe the world around us.

Anyone seeking healthier, closer family relationships can benefit from family therapy.

Groups and Camps

Is your tween avoiding situations because of fear or anxiety?  Do they feel unsure of how to act or what to say when talking to peers? Are you spending time accommodating their demands just to get them to do things?  Then you have come to the right place!
