Kayley Schwab, BA

Master's Level Graduate Intern

Kayley is a counseling psychology graduate student and intern with Arcadia University. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with dual concentrations in Child and Family and Trauma Therapy. Kayley is interested in gaining further experience providing compassionate care to individuals, children, and families. Kayley has over a decade of experience in childcare, and in child and family education.   Kayley has worked closely with children of all ages, assisting them in navigating  challenges such as anxiety, behavioral issues, academic struggles, and social difficulties. She has also supported parents and families in strengthening their relationships, enhancing communication, and developing effective parenting strategies. In her work with clients, Kayley creates a warm and engaging environment.   Kayley works to build trusting therapeutic relationships that allow for growth change. Kayley is open meeting the client where they are, while staying informed in the latest research and best practices in the field.

In her free time, Kayley loves to spend time in the garden, as well as creating new recipes in the kitchen using the food she's grown.  Kayley also enjoys making music, caring for her animals, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible.
